Two compositions composed for the postgraduate octet at the Royal Academy of Music. These demos were captured on a Zoom H2n handheld recorder.
This octet is formed of postgraduate jazz students at the Royal Academy of Music. It provides the opportunity to write for a larger ensemble and to workshop new music. The ensemble was also as a compositional outlet for techniques learnt in classes taught by Pete Churchill.
